STANLEY ALL SEASON PRO GAP FILLER is a user-friendly, self-expanding aerosol polyurethane foam specifically designed for convenient application. It is a single-component foam that cures naturally. FIELDS OF APPLICATION: 1. Fixing and insulating door and window frames, 2. Filling and sealing gaps, joints, and cavities, 3. Filling penetrations in walls, 4. And even insulating electrical outlets and water pipes. SURFACE PREPARATION AND FOAM APPLICATION: 1. SURFACE: Clean the substrates to remove dirt, dust, grease, rust, or any contaminants. Make sure the surface is dry. If the temperature is above 32°F, you can lightly sprinkle water using a gardening sprinkler. 2. PRODUCT: The optimal can temperature is 68°F. 3. APPLICATION: Shake the foam can vigorously before use to ensure proper mixing. Attach the can to the dispensing gun. Always hold the can upside down and activate the foam by pressing the valve. Enhance adhesion and shorten curing time by moistening the surfaces and the foam. Start filling vertical gaps with foam from the bottom, moving upwards. Avoid completely filling the gap, as the foam will expand over time. 4. TOOLING AND FINISHING: To shield foam from UV damage, coat it with plaster or paint once it's fully set. To avoid foam drying in the applicator, use the entire can without pausing for over 5 minutes between sprays. 5. CLEANING: Use Foam Cleaner to clean fresh foam and Gun. For cured foam, mechanical cleaning is required, as it cannot be cleaned with chemicals. EFFECTIVE USAGE: The curing process depends on temperature and humidity. Rushed surface prep can harm the foam's structure. Don't use the foam in stuffy or sunny areas, apply it valve-down for efficiency, for outdoor use, consider painting it, and cold weather can make it cure slower and produce less foam.
