The 4-1/2" 12 Amp AC Brushless Paddle Switch Disc Grinder w/ Brake (model G12BYEQ2) offers exceptional performance for the operator with five safety features that reduce user fatigue and risk of injury. The robust 12 Amp AC brushless motor delivers a no-load speed of 8,500 RPM which allows you to take on a wide variety of grinding tasks. The brushless motor is ultra efficient and permits the use of extra long extension cords without reducing power loss. It also extends product life and eliminates maintenance of armatures or carbon brushes. A tool-less wheel guard and 3 position anti-vibration side handle provide the user increased operational efficiency and comfort. A removable dust filter offers additional protection for the motor against dust and debris, ensuring the tool is operating efficiently. Superior performance is achieved when using a generator via an internal inverter circuit that regulates uneven power supply.
