In 1856, starting as a small tool house in the town of Shelburne Falls, MA, the founders of Mayhew Tools dedicated themselves to the highest standards in American manufacturing of punches and chisels. With the Dominator and Cats Paw series being two of there most popular. The company has grown to encompass a much broader product line, but the basic commitments to quality and standards have remained solid and unchanged.

- Patented, two-composite, ergonomically designed handle provides a comfortable and secure grip and is oil, solvent, and temperature resistant
- Metal striking cap at the end of the handle is in direct contact with the shaft allowing the user to strike the tool without damaging the handle
- Black oxide finish for additional rust protection
