Tool has powerful BL™ brushless motor to deliver 0 to 1350 RPM, 0 to 5000 BPM and 1.2 ft-lb of impact energy for demanding applications. It allows user to operate in 3 modes such as rotation only, hammering with rotation or hammering only for multiple applications. Tool equipped with Star Protection Computer Controls™ protects hammer against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Hammer features ergonomic soft-grip handle and large 2-finger trigger to offer superior operator comfort. Electric brake allows the tool to be repositioned faster for superior performance. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Tool has built-in LED light with an independent On/Off to illuminate the work area. Tool with SDS-PLUS bits, is great for a range of trades like mechanical/electrical/plumbing contractors, road/bridge contractors, utility workers, pest control, maintenance operations and many more. Tool comes with a side handle and depth gauge. It works with Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol.
