The 1 Inch cordless hammer has an efficient Makita BL™ brushless motor to deliver up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Motor delivers 0 to 950 RPM, 4700 BPM and 1.7 ft-lb of impact energy. Efficient brushless motor is electronically controlled for optimizing battery energy use, while assuring up to 50% longer run time per charge. Tool is jam packed with ease-of-use and efficiency features like 3-mode operation that is rotation only, hammering with rotation and hammer only. It has a large 2-finger trigger for more convenience and immense comfort. The depth adjustment guide ensures superior drilling depth accuracy. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. The rapid optimum charger effectively communicates with the battery's built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature.
