The Makita angle grinder is powered by a 15 Amp motor that rotates at 7000 RPM. With suitable guard installed, this grinder accepts 7 or 9 Inch grinding wheels. The spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor, bearings and gears. Protective zig-zag varnish seals the armature so that no dust or debris enters.
