The Irwin SPEEDBOR SUPREME™ 3/8 Inch auger bit is engineered to cut through wood with ease in order to make clean holes. Bit has aggressive screw tip to pull through material with speed and ease. It features optimized flute geometry, which allows for fast and efficient chip ejection. This 18 Inch long bit featuring a durable bi-metal construction, withstands repeated nail strikes. The 1/4 Inch quick change hex facilitates for compatibility with joist drills. Bit has a re-sharpenable blade and black oxide coating for enhanced corrosion resistance. It is well suited for drilling holes to run electrical wires and conduit, PVC piping for water lines and drilling through holes to bolt large wooden beams.
