Hults Bruk’s traditional Carpenter’s pattern has a thin, long, and straight edge that makes even cuts for rough shaping and detailed carving. The straight 20-inch American hickory handle provides balanced, accurate swings on larger projects. The finger notch near the neck allows the user to choke up on the handle for fine carving work. The squared-off pole is can be used to hammer wood or plastic wedges into place. Never hit metal objects with any Hults Bruk axe. The cutting edge is approximately 4-inches in length. Note: all Hults Bruk axes are hand forged, so there may be slight variations from axe to axe.
